the land of ironieswhat a week of absolute ironies. between rushing for the FIREfly interview which turned out alright, -crosses fingers- hopefully i'll get to the second round and the singapore power interview, which i totally crashed and burned and got pissed at the bureacratic assholic interviewers, i turned a 180 degrees around and was clubbing drinking smoking like there's no tomorrow at chinablack. the sheer
antagonism of it all is amusing
.more to add to the greater irony: after spending a good part of the week in a pissed off mood, im finally gonna
let go. i refuse to be treated like that by anyone, i want love and respect and maturity. and i know that i will never get it from him, ever. stop wasting time getting hung over and moving on, dude. funny thing is, love's been shining quite prettily on me this past week, been receiving nice compliments from the stranger at the japanese restaurant during ma's birthday dinner, the brief brush with zhengyue at the FIREfly interview and he (nicely) waited for me, getting picked up at clubs and furtive looks from the cute army guy. sigh. but yeah, think quan's right, the best way to get over someone is to find someone else, haha:) so yup, just waiting for the next one.. bring it on man!:)
ended this ironic week with a great BIG BANG!! went out with quan gaya feng andrew on saturday but the best part was going for the last night supper with chethan des char tracy and xavier. al azhar's was
good!! and
i loved the MILO GODZILLA!! hahahahahhaha, it sucha yummy sinful guilty pleasure.. yum yum. ate prata too, which does not spell well for my diet but im happy so who cares:) (btw! i lost weight so yay for mengxin!:)) heh. watched million dollar baby after that and was rather touched by the storyline. it certainly deserved its oscar and i totally agreed with its stance on euthanasia. maggie had her shot, and thats all that matters cos it's enough to let her die with
no regrets. no regrets man, respect. haha chethan is rubbing off me, but he's so adorable. he's like a little cute boy boy, and im glad that we're meeting for movie night on good friday at char's house cos he always puts me in a good mood. and lately, good moods are what mengxin needs most. yup yup.
alright. off to watch lord of the rings!! yay another thing to keep me happy.. i need everything i can have to stop thinking and get over things. so yes, here's to a great week ahead!
